Whether or not female celebrities have gotten breast surgery is causing a stir. Most of the time, female celebrities think about breast augmentation to get a beautiful body shape, but sometimes women with excessively large breasts consider breast reduction surgery instead.
Romania’s new tennis starlet Simona Halep(22) and her 34inch double D cup breasts is gaining male fans from around the world. However, she decided to get breast reduction because the weight of her breasts (12kg) made her reflexes slower and caused a drop in her performance.
Global soccer icon David Beckham’s wife Victoria Beckham(39) also received breast reduction surgery. Victoria Beckham had 34 inch double D cup breasts after receiving breast augmentation surgery, but they did not look well on her petite frame and so she decided to get breast reduction.
The most famous case of someone receiving breast reduction after breast augmentation would be the Guinness World Record holder for the largest enhanced breasts Sheyla Hershey(31). Sheyla underwent at least 10 breast augmentations to make her triple K cup breasts. However, she later got a staph infection and had breast reduction surgery to remove her implants. Afterwards, she became depressed without her enhanced breasts and it’s been told that she tried to commit suicide two times.
Medical experts refer to enormous breasts as macromastia. Dr. Park Wonjin of Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic states, “overly large breasts require breast plastic surgery more urgently than small sized breasts. Those with macromastia can suffer from pain in the shoulders, neck, and back. Due to the excessive weight they may not be able to lift their shoulders and be unable to maintain proper posture. Also during the summer and warm seasons, it is easy for eczema to form on the skin below the breasts which leads to discomfort during everyday activities.”
