Coffee actually helps to lose weight and it is because of the caffeine. If our bodies take caffeine, it activates the metabolism of the body and it increases the usage of body energy. Then the effectiveness of burning fat is increased and helps with losing weight.





*Caution: The caffeine in coffee helps with losing weight but if you drink too much caffeine, it may cause side effect such as insomnia, nausea so it is good to drink less than 3 cups of coffee in a day.





One researcher explain that “Especially drinking a cup of coffee before meal helps to increase satiety and reduce the appetite to help with losing weight” and “A cup of coffee after meal helps to digest well and increase the metabolism to help with the losing weight”





But it works just for black coffee, not every coffee. A cup of black coffee contains 5~6 calories but mixed coffee with sugar or milk contains 55 calories which is 10 times than black coffee. So it is good to avoid mocha or cappuccino when you are losing your weight.
