How exactly are the hair pieces inserted into the scalp?

Basically, the hair on the back of your head is transplanted onto the desired area, usually at the top. The hair at the back of the scalp is not affected by the male hormones, thus still healthy and not balding. This hair can also be used for beards, eyebrows, burnt areas with scars, pubic hair, and wide foreheads. 

What are the types of hair transplant? 

It is divided into two major categories: incision and non-incision.
The non-incision method is called "direct hair transplant." There are more than one incision methods, such as mega session transplant, mini hair transplant, scalp reduction, follicular unit, tissue augmentation, etc. The type of transplant should be chosen based on the patient.


How many hair follicles do I need? 

For those with less balding, we recommend the non-incision direct hair transplant. But for those with much balding, at least 3000 follicles are needed and this requires incision mega session transplant. 


What is the treatment & recovery process? 

Surgery Time: 4 hours (for 2500 follicles)
Anesthesia: Local Anesthesia 
Stitch Removal: 10-14 days 
Treatment: 2-3 times 
Return to daily activities: 1-2 weeks 

Approximately 3 weeks after the transplant, 70% of the newly inserted hair will fall out. But within 3-6 months, the hair will start to grow back. The hair will begin to grow thicker and during the 9th month, it will look pretty full. The full results happen from 1-1 year and a half.
