Before the surgery ▲

 

Real Diary:

It’s one week before my surgery........................................... I’m nervous.
While looking at my selfies, I couldn’t help but sigh at my extreme square jaw and wide cheekbones. I am so ready to be reborn!
My square jaw has been noticeable even since I was in elementary school..I got teased a lot and called many nicknames .. in middle school, then in high school ..
Even after graduating from college I have been stressed out because of my jaw. I always kept my hair long..to cover up my cheekbones, and styled my hair in styles suitable for my square face.
If someone ever messed up my hair (be it friends, god,the wind) I felt really really uncomfortable.
It won’t be long until I can make my face slimmer and more handsome!

 

 

 

3 Days after the surgery ▲

 

Real Diary:

On my surgery day, as I lay on the operating table..I don’t know why but I started to cry T.T
Even after waking from the anesthesia, I was crying left and right, I guess I was just so relieved I made it through the biggest decision of my life hah.  Today is the 3rd day after surgery, and god I didn’t know my face would be so darn swollen! I really hope this swelling goes away quickly T.T

Today it doesn’t hurt as much, and I can bear with the discomfort. I just want my puffy cheeks and swollen face to reduce!!  The thing that keeps me going is my determination and belief that my surgery went great.  The pretty nurse told me that swelling will start to reduce tomorrow over a period of 1-2 weeks starting with the larger swollen areas.  However, she also told me that to start noticing my new and more handsome face it will take about 1 month of healing time.  This can take even longer (up to 6 months) and so I will do everything in my power to get my swollen reduced!~

 

 

 

3 Months after the surgery ▲

 

Real Diary:

My swelling is reducing quite nicely. When people I know tell me my face has become smaller, I feel so happy.^^ As I watch my swelling reduce day by day, I’m learning to appreciate all the little things in my life. Thanks for stopping by!

 

 

 

6 Months after the surgery ▲

 

Real Diary:

It’s easy to do my hair now.
That’s probably due to the fact my hair is much shorter than it used to be.
When I look at clothes, I feel myself reaching for button downs and cardigans styles that make me look smoother and more gentle. I definitely feel more confident about my appearance!

 

 

 

8 Months after the surgery ▲

 

Real Diary:

I can’t believe it’s been 8 months since my face contour surgery.
I feel a lot has happened and I have greatly changed during this time.
I am so happy these days. Thanks so much Wonjin Plastic Surgery for helping me best the best and most confident I can be!
