Banana contains the ingredient called tryptophan which expedites secretion of happy hormone called serotonin, and sleeping hormone melatonin. Tryptophan cannot be created in the body, so it must be taken consciously with meals.
Cherry contains plentiful of melatonin. Melatonin easily dissipates by aging, stress, artificial daylights such as television, computer, and game players. The reason why people complain for insomnia as they age is because secretion of melatonin in the body reduces as they age. Therefore, it is effective to have food which contains melatonin such as cherry constantly. It is okay to blend cherries to make smoothies or juice, or have dried cherries as snacks.
Corn also contains plentiful of melatonin.
