Efficacy and side effects of ‘Hibiscus Tea’

Hibiscus tea is known to help to reduce blood pressure level, reduce cholesterol, and strengthen the immune system. Drinking Hibiscus flowers also reduces hypertension. Recent research has found that Hibiscus tea is rich in antioxidants which reduce free radicals.

People with lower blood pressure should also be careful. This flower has the effect of lowering blood pressure. People who are undergoing surgery should also avoid drinking hibiscus tea at least two weeks in advance.
