6. Samgyupsal (Pork Belly BBQ) When you eat out, ‘Samgyupsal’ is one of the best dinning menu to eat and drink. Especially, when yellow sand and fine dust come, Samgyupsal is a representative detox food. Normally, sliced pork belly is grilled with garlic and kimchi. After then, eat grilled pork belly with vegetables such as lettuce, seasoned green onions, red pepper, sesame leaves, and roasted kimchi. In Korea, it is common to eat them with seasonings such as ‘doenjang (soybean paste)’, ‘gochujang (red pepper paste), salt, sesame oli, and ‘ssamjang (a mix of doenjang and gochujang).




7. Chicken
Recently, Korean style chicken has been popular for foreigners because of Korean dramas. For foreigners, chicken is one of the best meals you have to try while you are in Korea. Most chicken restaurants offer fast delivery services and chicken is one of best menu with beers. They can order at home comfortably, so many foreigners preferred Korean style chicken.




8. Naengmyeon (Cold noodle)
Naengmyeon, Korean cold noodle is made from chilled meat based soup. Korea cold noodle has 2 different kinds. First, water cold noodles taste depends on the meat soup while bibim-cold noodle is based on Kochujang(red pepper) sauce. Usually cold noodles are enjoyed in hot summer, but cold noodles are also popular in winter in Korea. Cold noodle manias said that it is more delicacy to eat cold noodles in the cold winter.




9. Kimbap
Kimbap is a Korean dish made from cooked rice and other ingredients that are rolled in gim(dried sheets of laver seaweed), and served in bite sized slices. Kimbap is often part of a packed meal, or dosirak, to be eaten at picnics and outdoor events, and can serves as a light lunch. It is a popular take-our food in Korea and abroad and is known as a convenient food because of its portability.




10. Nakji-bokkeum (Stir-friend Octopus)
In Korea, nakji-bokkeum is served spicy so people usually eat shellfish soup with it to reduce the sensation of hotness. Nakji bokkeum is made with chopped octopus and vegetables such as onions, green onions, cabbage, and carrots. Then make a marinade with gochujang(red pepper paste), soy sauce, garlic salt and sugar. Then mix the octopus and vegetables together, and then marinade them. Finally, fry everything together. Octopus is a low-carlorie food, so it is believed to be good for stamina.
