First
of all, it is possible to have a regular meal but recommended to avoid any
spicy, salty, and greasy food during the recovery but it may slow down the
swelling to subside.
Secondly,
smoking and drinking should be avoided for one month after surgery and any extreme
sports or weight lifting is possible after one month.
Third,
face cleansing and wearing make-up is possible from the next day of stitch out
and hot sauna is possible after one month.
Light shower can be done from the day of surgery.
Fourth,
you all must be aware of swelling after surgery so it is helpful to raise the
upper body about 15 degree when sleeping by using the cushion or 2-3 pillows.
Fifth,
after surgery it is recommended to do ice pack massage on forehead, eyes,
cheek, and cheekbone are for 2-3 days to reduce the swelling. Major swelling will subside within 1-2 weeks.
Lastly,
do not blow your nose, remove nasal debris, or pick nose with cotton tip, which
may irritate the inside of the nose.
